I grew up in small towns in Michigan that you’ve probably never heard of. I’ll always love Michigan but I moved to California in 2010. I started out in San Francisco but my partner and I have gradually moved north over the years.

We live in the forest now with our 3 dogs, 2 cats, 6 chickens, and honey bees. It’s a blast and we’re so fortunate to live here! Most of my spare time is spent working on weather stuff, reading, writing, and playing video games. I’m also a big Lord of the Rings fan and like all hobbits, I’m quite fond of food.
